Welcome to Scottsdale!

We’re excited to host our very first City Event in the Cubieverse!

The City Event is a brand new style of event that will bring a weekend of whirlwind excitement to a metropolis near you! City Events are local, multiplayer-based, city-wide events, where we take over the city for the weekend and jam pack it full of in-game content!

Our inaugural City Event will be in Scottsdale, Arizona, in the good ol’ United States of America!

Event Briefing

For the wonderful hunters who are joining us, there will be a daytime event called the Fruit Festival! Hunters can partake of the Fruit Festival during the day on May 18 and May 19. But at night on Saturday the 18th… get your drinking hats ready, because we’re going on a Pub Crawl!

Meetup

The LOVE sign at Scottsdale Civic Center!

To get started with the City Event, meet up with Illusionweaver and other hunters on Saturday May 18 at 11am Mountain Standard Time (Arizona local time). We are aware that a different time was listed on our Hunters Lodge — the correct time to meet up is 11am local time!

Meet at the LOVE sign at the Scottsdale Civic Center! You’ll see a special kiosk in the game. Interact with it to pay your Crystal Key entry fee and activate your signup for the Fruit Festival and Pub Crawl events! You’ll get an instant in-game reward to Spin the Wheel for a fat stack of resin!

Participating hunters will also receive:

100 Explorer Points
10 Hunter Points
And a physical collectible Event Bracelet!

Illusionweaver will only be handing out Event Bracelets until the Fruit Festival starts at 12pm local time, so don’t miss your chance to meet up! The kiosk will remain available in-game for any late-arriving hunters.

Fruit Festival

Discover some of the best spots in the city while collecting resources, solving fun quests, and eating at delicious restaurants!

The Fruit Festival starts at noon on May 18. The festival will run from Saturday May 18 to Sunday May 19.

There are three new Cubie blueprints to be earned from the Fruit Festival:

The common Apple Cubie
The rare Peach Cubie
The epic Watermelon Cubie

There will also be many chances to spin the wheel with many juicy rewards!

Apple Cubie Blueprint

While the Apple Cubie Blueprint may be of common rarity, it is unique to the Scottsdale City Event and will not be returning at future City Events! So make sure to get your Apple in Scottsdale!

You can get the Apple Cubie Blueprint by solving White Vaults inside a 20km radius around the meetup kiosk!

Peach Cubie Blueprint

Get your very own rare Peach Cubie Blueprint and enjoy watching the back of this delightfully curvy Cubie walk with you in the Cubieverse! The Peach Cubie Blueprint can be acquired by solving Blue Vaults inside a 20km raidus around the meetup kiosk. Peach Cubie Blueprints will return at future City Events.

Watermelon Cubie Blueprint

Last but definitely not least for the Fruit Festival, take on the epic Watermelon Cubie! It won’t be easy to get the blueprint for this hardcore-but-juicy Cubie. There are two ways to get this blueprint:

The gourmet way: visit newly opened restaurants in the Cubieverse!

Enjoy a meal in a Cubieverse restaurant. You’ll pay a key and a timer will count down until you can claim your reward.
Spin the wheel once you have finished for your rewards, which can be rare resources, epic resources, or the epic Watermelon Cubie Blueprint. There’s a one in seven chance of getting the blueprint!

2. Too full to eat at any more restaurants? Have no fear, Quinten is here! Look for Quinten the Cartographer Cubie! He’s charting the entire Cubieverse and he needs your help. He’ll be hanging out at iconic locations in Scottsdale.

Once you’ve helped Quinten, you’ll get to spin a wheel! You’ll also receive 10 explorer points and 10 hunter points every time you help Quinten.
You can only help Quinten at any given location one time. But don’t worry, Quinten will be all over the place, and you can help him in each location!

Restaurant Locations

Olive & Ivy — available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Citizen Public House — available for dinner
Grimaldi’s Pizzeria — available for lunch and dinner
AZ/88 — available for lunch and dinner
Breakfast Club — available for breakfast and lunch

The restaurant quest duration at each location will be 30 minutes. Consider making reservations with other hunters so you can hunt and eat as a group! You can use the Scottsdale event channel on Discord to coordinate with other hunters. Restaurant quests will respawn each noon UTC.

Pub Crawl

Once the sun sets over the desert, the party animals come out! Cliffy the Bartender Cubie invites you to the very first Cubieverse Pub Crawl!

The Pub Crawl will take place on Saturday May 18th from 8pm — midnight.

We start by gathering at the Outrider Rooftop Lounge at the Canopy by Hilton, be there at 8pm!

As a reminder, you must be over 21 years of age to enter a pub in the United States. Participating hunters must be 21 or over. Please note that you do not have to drink alcohol to participate, but you do have to purchase some type of drink. We’ll visit some of the hippest hangouts in town and take part in some Cubieverse Pub Trivia!

At each pub, order a drink to gain access to the Pub Crawl Trivia Challenge! Try to improve your score at each stop. Your highest score will stay on the Pub Crawl leaderboards!

At the end of the night, we’ll all gather at SEVEN — Caesars Republic Scottsdale, on the rooftop bar! Our Cubieverse takeover of SEVEN will begin at 11pm local time.

There are three new achievement Cubies to be earned from the Pub Crawl, and tons of additional rewards:

Franz, a Cubie exchange student from Germany. He came to study in America and loved Scottsdale so much he decided to stay! Franz is a common cubie, but he is unique to the Scottsdale event! You won’t see him again in the future!
Jackie, the hippest and coolest Cubie lady on the trivia circuit! She’s a rare Cubie who will be travelling to other City Events in the future!
Oliver, the wild card, the party animal, the one who wears not only a banana suit but also Crocs on a night out! Though Oliver will return at other City Events, only the hunter who places first on the Trivia Challenge will be able to take Oliver home! (Actually, the lucky first-place hunter will be taking both Franz and Oliver home… hope you can handle them!)
