We’re excited to host our second City Event in the Cubieverse!
The City Event is a brand new style of event that will bring a weekend of whirlwind excitement to a metropolis near you! City Events are local, multiplayer-based, city-wide events, where we take over the city for the weekend and jam pack it full of in-game content!
Our second City Event will be in Toronto, Canada in September.

Event Briefing
This event will be a 3-day event, starting on Friday evening and ending on Sunday evening. Let’s take a closer look at the schedule:
Friday : Cocktails & Trivia Night!
Cliffy the Bartender Cubie invites you to his world famous Cocktails & Trivia Night!
This evening spectacle will take place on Friday September 20th from 8pm — midnight.
We start by gathering at our private venue, The Moonlight Lounge (behind TacoTaco 319 Augusta Avenue), be there at 8pm latest!
As a reminder, you must be over 19 years of age to enter a pub in Ontario. Participating hunters must be 19 or over. Please note that you do not have to drink alcohol to participate, but you do have to purchase some type of drink. Everybody will receive a complimentary Bluebie Cocktail on arrival to get the party started!
At 8pm we will open up the registration for the Lost Treasure Escape room quest and we will be giving out the collectible Toronto Event Bracelets to everybody. After this is done the trivia portion of the night will start and each attending hunter will receive 4 attempts on getting the highest score of the night on the Trivia Night leaderboards!

Prizes for the Pub Crawl Trivia Challenge!
There are three achievement Cubies to be earned from the Pub Crawl, and tons of additional rewards:
- Toronto Raccoon Cubie, a Cubie giving a wink to a famous local meme. This is a common Cubie, but he is unique to the Toronto event! You won’t see him again in the future!
- Jackie, the hippest and coolest Cubie lady on the trivia circuit! She’s a rare Cubie who will be travelling to other City Events in the future!
- Oliver, the wild card, the party animal, the one who wears not only a banana suit but also Crocs on a night out! Though Oliver will return at other City Events, only the hunter who places first on the Trivia Challenge will be able to take Oliver home! (Actually, the lucky first-place hunter will be taking both the Toronto Raccoon Cubie and Oliver home… hope you can handle them!)
Saturday : meetup at the Toronto Sign!
To get started with the rest of the weekend, meet up with Illusionweaver and other hunters on Saturday September 21 at 10am local Time (EDT).
Meet at the TORONTO sign at Nathan Philips Square
( https://maps.app.goo.gl/cxwhH7ZXzrKGswc9A) ! You’ll see a special kiosk in the game. Interact with it to pay your Crystal Key entry fee and activate your signup for the Fruit Festival! You’ll get an instant in-game reward to Spin the Wheel for a fat stack of resin!
Participating hunters will also receive:
- 100 Explorer Points
- 10 Hunter Points
The kiosk will remain available in-game for any late-arriving hunters.
Fruit Festival
At 10:30 am the Fruit Festival will start. Discover some of the best spots in the city while collecting resources, solving fun quests, and eating at delicious restaurants!
The fruit festival will run from Saturday September 21 to Saturday October 5th.
There are three Cubie blueprints to be earned from the Fruit Festival:
- The common Green Apple Cubie (unique to the Toronto event!)
- The rare Peach Cubie
- The epic Watermelon Cubie
There will also be many chances to spin the wheel with many juicy rewards!
Apple Cubie Blueprint
The Toronto-only Apple Cubie!
While the Green Apple Cubie Blueprint may be of common rarity, it is unique to the Toronto City Event and will not be returning at future City Events! So make sure to get your Green Apple in Toronto!
You can get the Green Apple Cubie Blueprint by solving White Vaults inside a 20km radius around the meetup kiosk!
Peach Cubie Blueprint
The Peach Cubie!
Get your very own rare Peach Cubie Blueprint and enjoy watching the back of this delightfully curvy Cubie walk with you in the Cubieverse! The Peach Cubie Blueprint can be acquired by solving Blue Vaults inside a 20km raidus around the meetup kiosk. Peach Cubie Blueprints will return at future City Events.
Watermelon Cubie Blueprint
The epic Watermelon Cubie!
Last but definitely not least for the Fruit Festival, take on the epic Watermelon Cubie! It won’t be easy to get the blueprint for this hardcore-but-juicy Cubie. There are two ways to get this blueprint:
- The gourmet way: visit newly opened restaurants in the Cubieverse!
- Enjoy a meal in a Cubieverse restaurant. You’ll pay a key and a timer will count down until you can claim your reward.
- Spin the wheel once you have finished for your rewards, which can be rare resources, epic resources, or the epic Watermelon Cubie Blueprint. There’s a one in seven chance of getting the blueprint!
2. Too full to eat at any more restaurants? Have no fear, Quinten is here! Look for Quinten the Cartographer Cubie! He’s charting the entire Cubieverse and he needs your help. He’ll be hanging out at iconic locations in Toronto.
- Help Quinten with his quest!
- Once you’ve helped Quinten, you’ll get to spin a wheel! You’ll also receive 10 explorer points and 10 hunter points every time you help Quinten.
- You can only help Quinten at any given location one time. But don’t worry, Quinten will be all over the place, and you can help him in each location!
Restaurant Locations
These are the restaurants that will have in-game Cubieverse counterparts!

- Daldongnae Korean BBQ — available for lunch and dinner
- Storm Crow Manor — available for lunch and dinner
- The Morning after — available for lunch and dinner
- Daphne — available for lunch and dinner
The restaurant quest duration at each location will be 30 minutes. Consider making reservations with other hunters so you can hunt and eat as a group! You can use the Toronto City event channel on Discord to coordinate with other hunters. Restaurant quests will respawn each noon UTC.
NEW : The Lost Treasure Quest!
Entirely new for Toronto is the Lost Treasure escape room quest! This is a unique quest in collaboration with one of the most finest escape rooms in the city: Enigma Escape Rooms. Everybody will be divided up into groups of five and will be assigned a timeslot. Show up 10 minutes before your timeslot at the location of the Pirate Captain (more info during Friday evening’s Cocktail & Trivia night) to get the Lost Treasure Quest started.
800 Explorer points, 5000 Hunter points AND an epic resource wheel spin will be rewarded to those who can solve the mystery of the Lost Treasure!
NOTE :Participating in this event requires purchasing entry tickets at the Escape room. Show your City Event wristband to the patron and you will receive a 10% discount! ($36 CAD instead of $40 CAD pp.)
The Lost Treasure escape room quest is optional and not required to advance in the City Quest. But it’s highly advised to do it because it is a TON OF FUN!!
Sunday: tie up your loose ends
On Sunday we keep the hunting going and allow everybody to finish up collecting their resources, visit the restaurants or finish their Lost Treasure quest. No need to rush through everything in one day! And there you have it, a weekend jam packed with hunting action, resource grabbing and mystery solving! Can’t wait to meet you all there!!!
