They say it takes 21 days to start and maintain a steady habit.

It takes one singular moment to make a life altering commitment.

The problem with making commitments, short or long term, is that you won’t always feel the way you felt when you initially made said commitment on subsequent days or even a few minutes after. And then you’re left with the questions:

  • Is this really worth it?
  • Did I make a huge mistake?
  • What options do I have?
  • Am I ever going to volunteer to make pancakes again for these gluttony blokes that keep asking for more, knowing fully well that it is a ‘prepare one piece at a time’ meal?
  • What would Jesus do?

Now, if the last question makes it to your list you probably have everything covered. Jesus can definitely handle multiple pancakes at a time, He made the fella that invented pancakes and he most likely created the recipe personally.

But if you don’t have that question on your list, asides the fact that you might be a bit more rational than our beloved brothers and sisters, you need to evaluate whether the pros of such commitment outweigh the cons.

Cuble has never been a platform to preach hardwork and perseverance or any values in general. But we have been doing this shit for 34 weeks now and it takes its toll; I mean Joe got catfished because he had to sacrifice his love life for the cause, at least, that’s how he wants us to put it.

Cuble’s first attempt at instilling good values:

A commitment is a cause you willingly dedicate time and effort to, a habit on the is a trait that you just cant shake off. To overcome the mental struggles of continuity, make a habit of commitments. This requires sacrifice; all it might cost you are the things it will eventually reward you with (we’re still hoping things work out for Joe).

Fin!
