The CUDOS Huobi listing last week highlighted one crucial factor underpinning the network’s recent successes: growth. In the past year, the Cudos ecosystem has experienced unprecedented expansion, helped by increased community engagement, strategic partnerships, a crystal-clear vision and sheer hard work. In several respects, the growth of Cudos can be attributed to the network’s underlying design, a visionary model that incentivises strategic expansion.

Imagined as a global ecosystem that empowers the development and deployment of various Web3 solutions, the decentralised network leverages blockchain technology and decentralised computing to meet current and future challenges for both technology and the environment. The possibilities encapsulated in that vision span emerging sectors, including metaverses, NFTs, Web3 infrastructure, and computation, to name a few.

Commenting on CUDOS’ Huobi listing, CEO Matt Hawkins drove home this point “over the last year, the Cudos network has grown exponentially, demonstrating the enormous demand for environmentally friendly cloud and computation solutions. Our successful testnet, which attracted thousands of developers, is a testament to our community’s immense support and commitment. The Huobi listing is the latest validation of our efforts toward realising our goals and underscores our dedication to expanding global access to CUDOS. As a compute network powering blockchain and the cloud by enabling anyone to contribute spare computing capacity, this listing expands our global coverage”.

Partnership highlights

Some of Cudos’ most important alliances over the past few months include a massive link-up with Tingo Holdings to tackle poverty by enabling compute monetisation in Africa. Earlier in November, Cudos teamed up with LDN UTD to deliver expanded access to gaming for people around the world. These and other successes were further bolstered by a strategic partnership with ChainLayer, a major Validator-as-a-service provider whose equity stake at Cudos enabled access to technical support and expertise. By mid-December, the network had secured another crucial partnership with Glitter Finance, enabling a potential Cudos-Algorand integration.

More recently, a tripartite alliance with GOATi and AMD brought compute monetisation to gamers in a first-of-its-kind set-up for blockchain gaming. The partnership rewarded players for providing spare compute capacities when idle. This demonstrated Cudos’ utility beyond the blockchain space. In light of these successes, it is well worth wondering how the network will evolve in the future.

What will the Cudos network look like?

A Cosmos-based chain governed by a delegated proof-of-stake (dPOS) model, Cudos aims to provide the infrastructure backbone for a broad spectrum of Web3 solutions. These could range from DeFi bridges to tooling support applications, and metaverse-enabling infrastructure. Simply stated, a slew of dApps will be built on and supported by Cudos, and the network will be facilitating the developmental process by providing developers with user-friendly tools and accessible docs repositories.

Ultimately, Cudonians will benefit from a robust ecosystem comprising a Layer 1 network supporting all the dApps outlined above, combined with a Layer 2 compute infrastructure. The latter will be providing cloud resources both to Cudos and other blockchains that can leverage powerful computing to supplement on-chain transactions. Backed by the CUDOS token, the ecosystem will benefit from widespread adoption and mainstream utility attracted by the compute layer.

Support Cudos

Cudos is currently in the final phase of its incentivised testnet, which remains open to developers who can solve some of the network’s outstanding tasks and earn rewards. In addition, the network is rapidly approaching its mainnet launch in the coming months with an ever-growing community.

About Cudos

Cudos is powering the metaverse bringing together DeFi, nonfungible tokens and gaming experiences to realize the vision of a decentralized Web3, allowing all users to benefit from the growth of the network. It’s an interoperable, open platform launchpad that will provide the infrastructure required to meet the thousand-fold higher computing needs for the creation of fully immersive, gamified digital realities. Cudos is a layer-1 blockchain and layer-2 community-governed compute network designed to ensure decentralized, permissionless access to high-performance computing at scale. Its native utility token CUDOS is the lifeblood of the network and offers an attractive annual yield and liquidity for stakers and token holders.
