Cudos Labs: development update! 🧠(16/09/2021) — CUDOS
Here’s what we’ve been working on over the last 2 weeks.
Cudos Network
- We created a validators configuration document
- We created a mapping utility for the Ethereum to Cudos Network migration
- We had to postpone our Ethermint research and testing because the Cosmos IBC relay is currently not supporting it.
- We worked hard on ensuring a Tendermint network can be upgraded once deployed:
- Ensuring the chain can keep processing as nodes upgrade to new software.
- Ensuring that no state is lost or amended during an upgrade.
Tooling
- We implemented improvements to the Testing Framework.
- We added CLI improvements for Init, Compile and Local node setup commands to the pipeline.
DApps
- We reviewed the code for additional functionality to the NFT Minting module.
Staking
- We investigated the gas price estimator value.
This week
Cudos Network
- We’re upgrading the Private Testnet.
- We’re describing and deciding the basic network configurations.
- We’re investigating an issue with re-using the same public key when registering as a Validator.
- We’re doing a Cosmos SDK State Sync.
Ethereum to CUDOS migration
- We’re finalising a mapping smart contract for the Ethereum to Cudos Network migration.
- We’re progressing with the Mapping Page UI Designs.
Tooling
- We’re working on Cudos CLI improvements
- We’re reviewing and updating the Testing Framework.
- We’re publishing scripts and documentation instructing external developers how to construct a new Cudos test network with multiple Validators.
DApps
- We’re implementing NFT Minting features following a code review.
- We’re starting work on the NFT ERC721 Ethereum bridge.
About Cudos
The Cudos Network is a layer 1 blockchain and layer 2 computation and oracle network designed to ensure decentralised, permissionless access to high-performance computing at scale and enable scaling of computing resources to 100,000’s of nodes. Once bridged onto Ethereum, Algorand, Polkadot, and Cosmos, Cudos will enable scalable compute and Layer 2 Oracles on all of the bridged blockchains.
