As you might already know, here at Cudos we have recently launched our private testnet, as our devotion to dramatically reducing waste within the world’s computing resources and how they are used.

The private testnet aligns us with this key commitment and is a key component of the fundamental architecture, now live online. This is a monumental step forward for us, but the work continues. As of today (Thursday 3rd of June 2021) we begin the first few developers, to begin building NFT, Defi, and Data Oracle dApps on the Cudos network.

This is the first persistent private testnet version for developers, which we’ve named ‘Cognitum’ which rather tellingly, is derived from the Latin term ‘has become known’. It’s also a feature on the moon, but more on that later 😉

Cognitum will give us the opportunity to refine the infrastructure of our network and work towards creating a more powerful and intuitive platform for developers to build on.

We simply can’t wait to get started and share the results of the developers’ work with you! Be sure to keep an eye out on our social channels (links below) to stay up to date with the latest developments.

About Cudos

The Cudos Network is a layer 1 blockchain and layer 2 computation and oracle network being designed to ensure decentralized, permissionless access to high-performance computing at scale and enable scaling of computing resources to 100,000’s of nodes. Once bridged onto Ethereum, Algorand, Polkadot, and Cosmos, Cudos will enable scalable compute and Layer 2 Oracles on all of the bridged blockchains.
