Cudos Rejoiceful at Magic Joining as Proud New Partner🥳

Silicon Valley-based Magic is to allow seamless access to Cudos community of developers

Silicon Valley-based company Magic, a decentralized tool for passwordless user authentication, partners with Cudos to provide Cudos Network dApp developers, and their users, with frictionless access to a wide array of powerful decentralized, application-based user cases and services.

Where the typical online user can have hundreds of passwords to online accounts, including but not limited to, websites and applications; a more streamlined series of solutions are required to ensure a high level of multi-account use security and superior user experience workflows.

The media continues to report on password hacks, where major company’s databases are maliciously conquested to steal customer passwords, and yet, consumers that avoid using the same password across multiple accounts remain the minority. With the help of the Cudos network, Magic seeks to put an end to the unwarranted access of online attackers.

“The future of software infrastructure needs to be decentralized and democratized, like roads and power. Cudos is a promising enabler for this future by pragmatically transforming end-users’ computing equipment into generalized compute resources. We at Magic are very excited to partner with and support Cudos on this journey by providing the most seamless way for mainstream users to interact with the Cudos platform.” — Sean Li, Founder and CEO, Magic

Passwords are becoming obsolete and Magic is at the forefront of the revolution. With Magic, the developer of the application can add a few simple lines of code to support a variety of passwordless login methods.

Whether this is for traditional applications using email, social, and even WebAuthn, or for decentralized applications (dApps) in the blockchain ecosystem, Magic vastly simplifies the user experience. Allowing an increasing level of productivity to the user’s productivity, and reducing the number of inconveniences caused by having to reset passwords.

“Security and user experience are paramount to a new internet and Magic achieves this through full decentralization and clever design. No tech giant or organisation will have your personal login credentials stored and we are confident that this will attract a lot of new developers to the Cudos network. In addition, Sean Li, founder of Magic and early member of Docker, who acquired his last company, is part of the Cudos advisory team and has further demonstrated his value to our ecosystem development by adding support for Cosmos based blockchains.”- Andrew Sturmey, CTO, Cudos.

For Cudos, Magic will launch its SDK on the Cudos network, making it available for its growing base of dApp developers across multiple use cases, including DeFi, NFT issuance, and access to on-chain high-performance computing. Enabling users to effortlessly authenticate themselves across a variety of compute-heavy use cases, and gain access to heavy-duty, blockchain-based services and infrastructure, with the utmost levels of security.

About Magic

Magic is a plug-n-play auth SDK made for developers. It’s based on future-proof technology that scales with your security and growth needs — even natively supporting modern and cutting-edge infrastructures like blockchain and Jamstack.

About Cudos

The Cudos Network is a layer 1 blockchain and layer 2 computation and oracle network being designed to ensure decentralized, permissionless access to high-performance computing at scale and enable scaling of computing resources to 100,000’s of nodes. Once bridged onto Ethereum, Algorand, Polkadot, and Cosmos, Cudos will enable scalable compute and Layer 2 Oracles on all of the bridged blockchains.
