Cudos Staking Platform: Community Update
As our community well knows, Cudos had been working extremely hard to launch our Staking Platform by the end of Q1. A ton of research, development and hard work has gone into this project as it is a key delivery item in our technology pipeline and will be a rewarding home for every token holder staking CUDOS tokens in support of our vision.
However, for two critical reasons, we are slightly delaying the launch of the staking platform.
Those reasons are as follows:
Security
There has been an escalation in theft, hacks and exploits in the blockchain and DEFI space. Our most important priority is the security of the platform, our community and the project as a whole. We’re taking some extra time to implement additional security functionality and perform rigorous testing.
Functionality
While the staking platform security is being upgraded, we’re taking this time to level up the UI and overall user experience for our staking platform. There will be further updates and upgrades after launch, but our focus is the best possible user experience at launch.
No one is ever excited about a delay and it was not an easy decision. However, when that hard choice means increased security and a better experience for our community, our token holders and our partners, we’ll make the hard choice.
We know it’s not the news you wanted to hear, but we hope you understand why we had to make this decision. We are really excited to launch our staking platform as soon as our optimizations are done and share this with all of you.
