Chocolate Fudge and Caramel

Just 5 minutes and 4 ingredients to rich, creamy fudge that will melt in your mouth.

It would make a great gift for family and friends. Who can say no to chocolate? Or a last minute add up to your dinner party.

Fudge

Ingredients :

> Dark Chocolate Compound (400gms)

> Sweetened Condensed Milk(250 gms)

> Coffee powder

> Vanilla extract(or any other extract to create unique flavour combinations like mint, orange, etc)

> Roasted chopped nuts(optional)

> Butter(optional)

Instructions :

>Line butter paper in a square pan, cover all the sides.

> Break or chop the chocolate into small chunks and place it in a non-stick saucepan with butter and condensed milk. Melt the ingredients gently over low heat. Stirring until smooth and silky. Add coffee powder and vanilla extract. Stir very well.

>pour the whole chocolate fudge mixture in the pan lined with butter paper.

>I like to add a pinch of salt to this recipe. You can omit it if you prefer

>smooth over the top with the back of the spoon. press the nuts into the surface, if using.

>Chill in the fridge for 2 hours, do not cover the pan, then cut it into squares. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 10 days.

Caramel

Ingredients:

>Sweetened Condensed milk(200gms)

>Rose water or saffron ( optional)

Instructions:

> Add rose water in the can .

> Fill pressure cooker with water, carefully place the can in the cooker.

>Cook until you hear a whistle.

>Wait for the pressure to release completely then carefully remove the can from the boiling water. Allow to cool completely before opening and using as a caramel spread or dip.
