GOAL
The activity makes it clear to the students what they understand and what they do not understand. The students practice evaluating their own learning.
STEP-BY-STEP
- After a class or an exercise or after having read a text, the students write what is clear and not clear to them in a Padlet, a Google Docs or Blackboard Discussionboard.
- Under the headline ‘Clear’ the students state which parts they have grasped, and under the headline ‘Not Clear’ what they have not grasped.
- The answers are published on the classroom screen. (5 minutes.)
- The teacher wraps up by selecting some answers from the screen. (5 minutes.)
