GOAL

A self-test can help the students evaluate their competences and knowledge. At the same time, they receive feedback on where and how they can perform better.

STEP-BY-STEP

  • Before the activity starts, the teacher has formulated a set of questions based on the intended learning outcomes of the subject in Google Forms.
  • The teacher has also formulated feedback on each question to be delivered automatically when the students go through the self-test.
  • Online or in class, the teacher introduces the aim of the activity and informs the students how long time the test will be accessible. (5 minutes if in class.)
  • When the self-test has been launched, the students can access it when they like.
  • After the test has been closed, the teacher informs the students about the results — in general terms and in class or online. (10 minutes if in class.)
