About Cultivate
All of us have a wild heart within us. A heart that follows truth, justice, and belonging. A heart that demands to grow in its own wild way. That’s what Cultivate hopes to foster. This publication is a home for stories about those wild hearts within us and how they’ve grown in unruly ways.
Submission Guidelines
Daring growth happens when we shift out of our comfort zones. When we move towards what serves us and lights us up. The goal of Cultivate is to be a home for stories about our growth as people, whether that’s personal, professional, or both. To do this, we are looking for bold, courageous stories from writers from all backgrounds.
More specifically, Cultivate will publish stories with the following guidelines.
- Well written with limited grammatical errors.
- Be courageous and bold in your story, for example in The Trauma of Justice, the writer bravely talks about her lived experience with the court system.
- Have links to sources, if applicable.
- Always credit your photo sources.
- Poetry is welcome!
- Be sure to follow Medium’s Curation Guidelines when submitting your work.
