Some Picks This Weekend

Cinco de Mayo is back the way it should be. No more dinky pub crawls they are closing streets again this year! Get festive all over Chinatown and check out the low riders, eat authentic food and catch all the live music on multiple stages. Best part is it’s all free. I’ll see you in the street with Mexican street corn between all my teeth.

Celebrity Chef Chris Oh is popping up a special Korean style taco bar at the Infinity pool Saturday at the Sheraton Waikiki and yours truly will be setting the daytime vibes from 12–5p. A marathon set so come down and eat and cheer me on.

This is the last weekend for the Honolulu Biennial. If you haven’t already taken in the Foster Botanical Garden before heading to The Hub (old Sports Authority on Ward). Plan to spend a good hour in the hub but the garden art is doable in thirty to forty five. Also plan to see the Yayoi Kusama room and huge inflatable pink lotus at the IBM Building. Trust me, it’s worth it.
