Aggelon Vima…Your Challenge-My Challenge!!!

The fields in which i focused in order to propose some solutions to Mrs. Dalamaga and contribute to outrun some obstacles her Organization may cope with.

On the 16th of December, I had my second meeting with mrs. Margarita Dalamaga; She has been waiting for me at the cafe of Aggelon Vima, where we examined several perspectives about the issues of concern. Finally, after having discussed for a couple of hours, we both decided that my aim should focus on increasing the awareness of the organization as a whole, propose some activities so as to make known and active the new part of it, the bistro and come up with some useful ideas concerning the collaborations she could start. What is more, mrs. Dalamaga was positive in any other proposal that would improve the image and the reputation of Aggelon Vima.

So, through Christmas holidays, having near me, as a necessary “gun” for my creative performances, a dish full of melomakarona, i started with a research of the advertising activities she has done until now. While there are some financial constraints that do not allow to advertise her activity on TV or the radio, mrs. Dalamaga tends to rely on social media, organization’s web site and street approaching via leaflets. She, had also accept some sponsorships which had advertising profits for both sides. Last but not least, a great part of the reputation’s increase came thanks to several review articles about the activity taking place in Aggelon Vima.

Then, i examined the audience that is mostly attracted. What i discovered was that beside the fact of having pretty economical prices, an activity both in theatrical and musical domain characterized by variety, modern elements, alternative and interactive performances but also educational perspectives, young people are not quite informed about Aggelon Vima. Moreover, having made a small informal research with friends and colleagues at the University i confirmed this fact.

After having analyzed the current profile of the Organization I set the bellow basic pillars of my work :

*Set as target group → young people between 20–30 years old. While Aggelon Vima had already gained an older audience why not to spread its voice through younger generations ?

*Enrich the social media activity. That will have as results to approach in a better way our target group, too.

*Promote collaborations, focusing on advertising profits for both sites (win-win system).

Most of all, primary notice of mine was to come up with such ideas that can be adapted from the Organization; in other words my proposals should keep up with the culture and beliefs of Aggelon Vima. In addition, they should also be efficient, practical and implementable.
