At our final meeting on 17/12/2017, i presented to mrs. Dalamaga, creator of Aggelon Vima cultural organization, my proposals and then moved with my last step, implementing one of my ideas, after receiving her approval.

My ideas were separated in three categories but can easily be understood that they are linked together in some point.

Social Media proposals

First comes the improvement of social media content (photos/videos). It’s absolutely necessary to upload your creative activity but it’s also crucial to show how people pass their time in your organization, while watching a theatrical event or just having a drink and relax. Public, in order to be motivated and visit a place, in a first part makes a research. Today the research tool is the social media pages; so if you have a vivid and interesting social media activity this fact will attract audience. Additionally, if there are visual “clues” that visitors do have a nice time there, the viewers will totally be more willing exploring your place.

Also, the new trend of #hashtags tends to be really practical and useful, because you label in a way your activity; as result, when a user searches for theater content, if this word exists as hashtag at your posts will be presented to him/her.

Then, we couldn’t avoid the power of Instagram. Currently seems to be the social media platform that rules on the Internet. The creation of a photographic portfolio there, is a necessity so as to boost your advertisement on the Web.

Lately, there is a tactic adopted by many cultural organizations; promoting contests for theatrical performances via social media (mostly Facebook) where the winner can have 2 tickets for free, by liking and sharing the event. Especially, among young people has a great response and it’s a pretty good way to make your activity known.

Finally, my last advice was to create a communication campaign (mini video) and promote it through social media, so as to spread not only the content of your organization but also the idea behind of it. People get easily intrigued by the beliefs that “hug” an activity. For this part, personally i created a spot as a recommendation.

Bistro proposals

According to this part, as Bistro is a business that can stands on its own because of the providing services, there is need to be added at the site of Aggelon Vima, as an option to click on. By this way, people will understand that even if they don’t want to be mixed with cultural events, this is a place to have a drink or finger-food or even a possibly choice to organize your happenings.

In order to make it known, an opening event would be helpful, as well as some periodic events every 2 or 3 months of Wine and Beer tasting. These are two drinks that attracts people of all ages and “tasting” is a new habit spreading through the world, as we can see from the new type of Tourism, which is linked to wine-tasting and producing.

Finally, about this part, some collaborations with new, small producers for both drinks but especially for beer (because it’s an activity that started rising currently) would be the ideal way to gain some advertising profits and maybe financial, too, in case of sponsorship.

Collaborations

A great opportunity is to be penetrated in internships programs either in Universities or web platforms that bring in contact companies with students (for the second category i suggested to check out the startup Zeusius). What is more, a nice idea is to contact and cooperate with students and their mentors of Greek Universities, so as to organize an event of yours. Through this activity Aggelon Vima will obtain a new dimension; it will approach young people, who will feel that their needs are understood. The organization will gain advertising profits through the students via social media & word of mouth system (simple but efficient). Also, having for staff young individuals, who want to work there voluntary or with an internship program, will bring financial profits, while these people won’t be paid . So, you as organization can cover your needs and in parallel provide to young people experience and training. That’s an equal, win-win system.

With the end of my ideas’ presentation i got my feedback from mrs. Dalamaga, that -thankfully- was really positive. She appreciated my project as well as the fact that i carefully combined my ideas at the general context of her work. As she told me, the proposals presented are useful advises that will try to accomplish and she believes that hopefully will have the wanted results. What she pointed out was the part of internships. She supported how helpful would be for her the cooperation with a capable student in order to undertake the post of social media manager and help her improve at this domain, as i guided her.

So….

Me, in order to help, at a first step, Aggelon Vima to find some students to work there, I announced it at the Facebook group that I share with my colleagues. Some of them responded at this message and had already come in contact with mrs. Margarita Dalamaga.

Thus, my project came to an end…
