The Liminal team United !

After our team’s first conversation(Kleopatra Tsoli, Dimitris Balios,Dionysia Boziki, Narina Gasparova, Stafania-Antonia Patakiouti) via Skype with the director of Liminal company ,Mr Christos Papamichael, in the 9th of December 2016 ,we realized our first official meeting at Impact Hub in Athens,Greece.

It was our pleasure to become acquainted with Mr Papamichael and start organising our ‘project plan’ as a conjunctive team.

It is worth mentioning that Liminal company is a social and cultural enterprise for accessible theater. Its aim is the possibility of everyone ( the disabled, people who talk english, drama school students, artists and the audience) to come into contact with the contemporaneous greek reality in the theatrical area. Based on that aim, we conducted a deep analysis of both Liminal’s forceful and weak elements, in order to understand the way we need to move afterwards.Liminal ,as a venture has many different aspects that demand studying.It is in fundamental level and has to confront effectively some difficulties that appear, such as the vast competition with other recognised and prestigious cultural institutions.

These difficulties make Mr Papamichael and us to work wisely and carefully.Only in this way we will achieve our goal, which is the equal accessibility of everyone to the ‘world’ of theater and art, as i have already described above.But first of all , we have to create the ‘experience’ not only our target group is necessary to feel, but also all the other active people- organizations in the ‘era’ of culture and greek society for the purpose of perceiving the essential point that Liminal pursues and fights for.

Liminal proposes a transition. It constitutes the ‘doorstep’ to a more humane society. And this is our challenge, to alter and improve the society we live in with our vision, important knowledge, spiritual and practical tools we appropriate!
