A university study of it and its problems.

This is a project for the course of Cultural Entrepreneurship of Panteion University of Social & Political Sciences focusing on the case of the organisation UrbanDig Project to examine its problems and determine its solutions.

WEEK ➊

The purpose of this assignment is to select a cultural organisation of any sector, size and power and then after getting in touch with its founders and members study its case and find solutions to any problems that it might cope with; thus offering a new and fresh perspective that may actively help the organisation while helping us gain some experience in the area of Cultural Planning and Entrepreneurship.

The UrbanDig Project as the case of our study was proposed by Amanda Voulgari and twnia nisotaki after having attented an event by the same organisation, which was first mentioned in class by the professor, Lida Tsene.

After assembling our 5 member team (below), twnia nisotaki acquired the role of team leader, in charge of communicating with Lida Tsene via email for any detail of the project while coordinating the actions, timetable, meetings and objectives of the team as a whole.

The role of writing the project weekly updates on Medium was assigned to Daphne Diapouli and Amanda Voulgari, which will be posting oftenly regarding the activity and progress of the team each week, combined with photographic material and explicit details of our programme.

This week, all of us have began gathering information on the non-profit organisation of UrbanDig Project both from its website and other sources of information in order to be able to produce a questionnaire. After our research, each of us will form and note a number of questions that we want to ask the staff of the organisation. Frossw Karpozilou is in charge of collecting all of the team’s questions in order to remove any recurrent questions and put them in the correct context and allignment. We will also retrieve some questions from the proposed questionnaire by Lida Tsene.

We were also able to set a meeting date with Matina Magkou and Katerina Prwtonotariou on Tuesday November 15th at 12:30 in Impact Hub Athens, after twnia nisotaki as the team leader got in touch with them.

The meeting will be both recorded and noted down by all members in order not to miss any detail, while after its course one member or more will be in charge of gathering and categorizing the information to share it with the rest of the team.

We have also have created a Facebook Closed Group and Chat so as to communicate in an easier and better way, posting updates, roles, links and information of any nature of the project. Last but not least, we have created and activated our Medium accounts to follow up with the assignment’s requirements and updates.
