Not looking for a growth hacker ninja rockstar

Yes, we’re fed up with that term. No one’s hacking anything here, we are heavy on experimentation but we believe in a steady and sustainable strategy that gives us repeatable growth.

We build software that simplifies SEO, helping SMBs to be visible and successful online. We have hundreds of thousands of users and partners all over the world with English spoken markets as our main target.

Who are You?

You know what startup life is like (ambiguity and quick pivots don’t scare you). You have initiative, are resourceful and love experimenting. SMBs are not foreign to you and you have some experience with their needs and challenges.

You’re growth and metrics obsessed and have owned part of “the funnel” before. You understand the SaaS industry and have experience with Acquisition, email, SEO and Paid channels, and believe in MarketGoo’s mission. Knowledge of querying, markup language and technical SEO are a big plus.

You don’t suffer from Analysis Paralysis

As a remote company, our work takes place mainly over Slack, Trello, e-mail, etc so you need to be a great communicator. Being assertive means efficiency for the rest of the team and we also value that you can make your point but commit when we disagree.

We’re looking for Managers of One. We aspire to build a high performing team where we do great work together and we need you to be autonomous and get things done without continuous direction. We ensure quality work with a lean mindset but also try to avoid falling in the perfectionist trap.

What will You do?

You will have a direct impact on critical metrics.

An example of some of your projects:

  • Designing our Growth system and properly structuring the Growth team, setting strategy, priorities and execution across organic and paid acquisition. Your mission is to build something new and help us identify and prioritize growth drivers.
  • Designing and implementing a testing & experimentation roadmap aimed at CRO for all channels (working with Partners as well as on our own direct sales).
  • Managing simultaneous Partner, Channel and Direct growth and CRO projects, building our pipeline.
  • Scaling actions that we’re currently implementing on a small scale.
  • Managing a recurring actionable insights project from user data across all our channels.

You’ll be learning from a team that values proactivity, design thinking, and of course, growth. Your teammates will also be learning a lot from you.

Dealbreakers

  • Provable Growth Experience — learning everything on the go while on the job is amazing, but this particular position requires that you have a growth track record.
  • English proficiency — even though most of the team are native Spanish speakers, our main working language is English. Extra points if you’re English-Spanish bilingual!
  • Working remotely is the best but in the beginning we expect you to live in Madrid, because in our experience, facetime at the beginning of the relationship is key.

Pay and benefits

Straight to the point:

  • Range of 35k — 50k, depending on your experience. Our aspiration is to grow the business together to reach 20% + market salary for any position.
  • After 2 years in the team you get to participate in our profit sharing program included on top of your salary.
  • We believe in wisdom growth. We will also support you with both professional and personal growth and have resources for helping you to keep learning and designing your lifestyle.
  • Remote flexibility. There are no time-sheets or punchcards here.
  • We’re here for the long term. Our business is stable, sustainable and independent from external funding.
  • We like to promote personal care and wellbeing. We have a monthly stipend for fitness and sport activities.
  • Team Assistant: We have a person taking care of the team. Do you need to make an appointment, buy your children’s books for school or make a restaurant reservation? Just ask our assistant for it.
