One of Chicago’s most underrated MCs is back on the scene just in time for the summer. Local hip-hop enthusiast Syd Shaw breaks her hiatus from the music scene with a mental upload of some of her favorite unreleased joints.

This series of music seems to be tied together by themes of self discovery, self appreciation and what it means to come to maturation in the city of Chicago. You can tell this project is as much for herself as it is for the fans because of how much fun Syd has on the verses.
