What better way to celebrate the achievements and accomplishments of Black America than with a satirical newscast covering the most “woke” news items?
The Martin Luther Kings of Comedy troupe is a fresh collective of talented comedians of color predicated on social consciousness and variety. Earlier this week, the troupe released the first episode of “Woke News” and it’s already gaining a following on social media.
The debut features such news elements as“C’mon White people,” a “gentrification meteorologist,” and coverage of “Dakota’s pipeline.”
