Gone Fishin!

Taking a lil’ break.

You know what’s hard? Life. It’s really rough. It’s especially rough when you consistently get 3 hours of sleep for a week while you try to explain to high schoolers why they should care about color theory (I am teaching a Film Class. But more on that next week). Mostly, this gal needs to catch some Z’s and recharge for next week. I suggest you do the same. In fact, when you do take that time for you, send me a message. I will curate a little list for all of you of self-care and self-love advice to serve as a reminder for all of us moving forward. I know I could use some tips and tricks. To start off, I haven’t read the news once this week. It was stressing me out, so I buried myself in Gossip Girl and re-watches of Whiplash (also stressful, but different) to get away from it all. It’s been nice. And working with kids who are so passionate about art and the power that it has is also healing in its own way — even if I get so little sleep. So I’ll attach some links for you all and a quick announcement and say sayonara until next time.

Love you all!
