616 Presents: Erica Lang spreads the Woosah with Outside Coffee Co
Erica Lang and Matthew Provoast talk about how Woosah had its beginnings—and what’s in store for the future.
In this week’s episode, Matthew Provoast invites over his old neighbor Erica Lang to talk about the new adventures involving her store, Woosah.
Woosah relocated from South Division to Wealthy Street in December of 2017, and Lang has not lost any momentum.
With plans of opening Outside Coffee Co (an outside coffee lounge located in the garden next to Woosah), and working on big projects with Experience GR and Merrell, there is no slowing down for Lang.
Lang talks about how she got her start first at Dinderbeck, with one small printmaking press and not much space, to opening up her first brick and mortar store showcasing her original printmaking designs on everything from t-shirts to prints to cups to caps, on the Avenue for the Arts on South Division.
Her brand exploded and allowed her to be able to experiment and explore new ideas.
With dreams of one day owning a building for Woosah while being able to live above her shop, she couldn’t pass up the opportunity to purchase a beautiful building on Wealthy Street that was the perfect fit.
