Background: This week’s song is a classic, coming off the 1979 album “The Pleasure Principle.” The heavy style of synth which is featured in this song has had a real resurgence in rock of recent years. While Gary Numan is most known for his hit song “Cars,” he had a wide range of other songs that helped to influence modern electronic music.
