Song of the Week: “Travelling Alone” by Jason Isbell

This week we are featuring a song from Jason Isbell’s 2013 album “Southeastern.” Jason Isbell first gained fame as a member of the alternative country rock group The Drive-By Truckers. Isbell left the group in 2007 to pursue a solo career, and has released some really fantastic albums in the years since. Isbell is an all-around talented musician, and that’s as apparent here as anywhere. The songwriting combined with his great alternative country singing voice make for layered and very listenable music. Check it out:
