Artist: The Octopus Project
Background: The Octopus Project is an “indietronica” band based in Austin Texas. The band was formed in 1999, and I recently discovered them when listening through some featured South by Southwest musicians. This song is a few years old, but I really enjoy it. The chaotic electronic sound combined with the upbeat and higher pitched female vocals reminds me of a happier, less-intense version of Crystal Castles.
