Introduction
Fuelet is a non-custodial wallet dedicated to the Fuel Blockchain. This means that it does not have access to user funds in any way, it only provides an interface to the blockchain.
The wallet provides an API for decentralised applications to communicate with it, allowing them to obtain user account information and request transaction signatures. Although the API currently only supports the browser extension, mobile support will be included in future versions.
The main goal is to make Fuelet Wallet easy to use for both users and developers, while maintaining the same wallet API as the official Fuel wallet for easy integration into applications.
Installation of Fuelet Wallet
Go to website:
Access the section to choose your version of the application:
In this case we will use the Google Chrome extension:
Set up the wallet
Launch the extension in your browser and access the Create a new wallet menu, it will ask you to assign a PIN to access your wallet account, don’t forget to store it in a safe place:
Now go to the seed phrase section, it is very important that you store the seed phrase in a safe place to be able to retrieve the wallet in case you need to install it on another device.
You’re done!
Once you have completed the steps you will be able to access your wallet account.
Fuel Faucet
To start testing Beta-5 dApps, you will need some testnet tokens in your wallet. To access the faucet copy the address of your wallet from the extension and visit the Faucet website:
https://faucet-beta-5.fuel.network/
Complete the checkboxes. By submitting your wallet and successfully completing a captcha, you will receive ETH from Testnet.
Please note that testnet tokens have no real monetary value and are created solely for the purpose of providing a testnet experience. If you have any problems, we encourage you to report them to us on the Fuel Discord.
Send and receive tokens
You can receive different tokens in the wallet by going to the Receive menu, selecting a token and copying the account address:
To send tokens with Fuelet click on the Send button, then enter the wallet destination address and the amount, click on Next and confirm the data entered, finally click on Send:
New wallet
To create a new wallet go to the top menu and click on Add wallet, then on Create a new wallet:
On the next screen click on Continue and your new account will appear, you can access the new account settings on the top right hand side:
Rename
You can change the name of your wallet account in the menu on the top right, select your account and click on the Name option, after changing the name click on Save:
