Steps to get started

1. Download and Install

Visit the official Leap Wallet website.

Download the app for your device (iOS, Android) or install the extension for your browser (Chrome, Edge, Brave).

Confirm the following screens to add the Leap Wallet extension to your browser:

2. Create a New Wallet

Open the application or extension.

Select “Create new wallet”.

3. Backup Recovery Phrase

The seed phrase will be the set of keys needed to recover or restore your wallet to another device. Keep these keys in a safe place; they are the only way to access your assets in case of loss or use of another device.

Access your Address

To receive funds from other wallets and perform other transactions you need to know the address of your wallet. To do this, first open the Leap Wallet extension:

To copy the address, click on the corresponding icon in the centre of the dApp:

You can also access the QR code of your address by clicking on the Receive button:

You can now provide your address to third parties to receive transactions.
