What is Nois Network

Nois is a Proof of Stake blockchain protocol that allows developers to use secure, unbiased and cost-effective randomisation through IBC on the Cosmos network.

Using the Keplr wallet

First install Keplr if you don’t already have it installed.
Access the Keplr extension:

To install the Keprl wallet step-by-step follow our tutorial:

Add the Nois network to Keplr using the Nois Address Generator by accessing the following website:

Click on the Add Nois Mainnet to Keplr button:

Approve the contract to link the wallet to the Nois network by clicking on the Aprove button.

A message will appear confirming the installation of the network in the wallet:

Once the contract is approved, the Nois network will appear. If you cannot see the network, click on Manage Chain Visibility in the main menu:

Select Nois and click on Save:

Create a new address in the Nois network

On the same website https://address.nois.network/

Choose the network on which you want to create the address, in this case Mainnet:

A confirmation message and the address of your new Nois address will appear:

Now that you have an account in your wallet you can check your balance and movements on Keprl:

Nois also has a set of block explorers developed by the community of validators where you can consult the movements of your account:

How to stake Nois

There are currently three dashboards from which we can delegate our tokens:

The process is similar in each of them:
https://nois-stake.d-stake.xyz/stake

Connect your Keprl wallet by clicking on the connect button at the top:

Aparecerá un panel de Keprl para que apruebes la conexión, pulsa en el botón Aprove:

You will see the address and the Disconnect button at the top:

Choose the validator(s) to delegate your tokens to and press Delegate:

Note: remember that a good practice to improve the decentralisation/security of the blockchain is to delegate to several validators, thus distributing voting power so that control of the network is well distributed and power is not concentrated in one or a few nodes.

Enter the number of tokens to delegate and press DELEGATE :

Confirm the transaction on Keprl by clicking on Approve:

A confirmation panel will appear with the delegation details and the balance of delegated nois in staking, click DONE to exit the window:

The delegated balance in the validator and the buttons to Redelegate or Undelegate will appear:

In our Keprl wallet we can see the delegated balance in the Staked section of our wallet:

Claiming rewards

To receive the returns from Nois’ stake click on the Unclaimed Staking Reward option:

The window to confirm the transaction will appear, click Approve:

Troubleshooting

If you are unable to connect to the Nois network in Keprl you will see a message like this:
