REVIEW: New Delta Sky Club at JFK Terminal 4 — Concourse A

This past summer, I explored many of the lounges at Terminal 4 when I had a long layover there. When I had a flight out of JFK this past weekend out of Concourse A, I was surprised to find a new Delta lounge tucked away by Gate A8. There was no line and was not busy when I was there on a Sunday afternoon.

Design & Comfort

Delta Sky Clubs are always nice and by far my favorite USA lounge for domestic flights. Overall, most Sky Cubs look and feel relatively the same. That consistency isn’t necessarily a negative when you have a high, consistent level of quality, but in turn means a lack of unique design elements or experiences.

That’s why I was surprised with how different this lounge looks and feels. Color-wise it’s all the same but it has bolder, more luxurious design choices that make it feel more like a chic hotel lounge. Upon checking in either with an agent or a self-serve kiosk, you ascend a long escalator towards a floor-to-ceiling statement chandelier.
