Barcelona (start and end port)

I highly recommend staying in Barcelona before or after the cruise, especially if you have never been before. It is a bustling city with an amazing culinary and cocktail scene. A sampling of small bites is my favorite way to eat in any culture — dim sum in Hong Kong, izakayas in Japan, and tapas in Spain that pair beautifully with a dry, crisp cava.
