Susan Brearley: Biography
Who Am I?
Born in 1957 in Reading, Pennsylvania, I spent my first 19 years in provincial obscurity, immersed in books and language, as a way to escape the mundane.
In 1978, with an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts: Humanities, and a small scholarship to Pace University in New York, I was armed with what I believed to be the golden ticket to Wonka World, and left Pennsylvania behind.
