Writing on Medium can be a bit like riding a roller coaster. But in the end, we all have one goal — getting more eyeballs on our content. Sometimes your content can be so over the top that people can’t wait to share it with others. You might get a mention or a link to your content by other writers or people who came across your content by chance.

Such was my experience.

Since I started writing on Medium, I’ve written and published close to 800 articles.

Out of that number, two have been quoted and shared with others on the web. You may be wondering, why only two? The reason for this is that you really have to push out a lot of content first before your stories start making an impact. You have to be patient as it takes time for your work to be noticed, and consistency is key.

One of the writers who followed me on Medium mentioned my name on his website Knowledge Enthusiast in an article he wrote Empower Your Writing Journey: Embrace the CEO Mindset for Success.
