From Dreams to Shelves: The Manifestation of Empathy’s Abundance

How Scarcity Blinds Us and The Power of Empathy Illuminates the Path

One of the driving forces behind my passion for practicing empathy lies in its ceaseless capacity to surprise. Today, an epiphany about manifestation brought me to tears, prompting me to share this revelation.

While I seldom delve into discussions about manifestation, aware that it can be perceived as somewhat mystical, the mission of spreading empathy holds too much significance for me to risk deterring individuals from exploring its depths.

Around this time last year, I spoke earnestly about my aspirations (one of the tenants of manifestation) to see my products, particularly our conversation game, Actually Curious, on the shelves of Target and Barnes & Noble.

This game, a catalyst for practicing empathy and emotional intelligence, kickstarted a movement that has organically grown into the most press-reviewed conversation game on the market. Look it up, it’s pretty fun to see what this small team accomplished.

A sizable order from either of these major retailers would have catapulted Curiosity Lab onto an entirely different trajectory.

Yet, that specific manifestation did not materialize.
