Ever since I was a little girl, books have been my escape.

I remember curling up in a cosy corner of the home, losing myself in the pages of fantastical worlds and epic adventures. The characters became my friends, their journeys my own.

As I grew older, my love for reading only deepened, and books became my constant companions.

Recently, I’ve found myself retreating even more into the world of books. While my friends are out socializing, I often choose to decline their invite and stay home reading or studying.

It’s not that I don’t enjoy their company; it’s just that I’ve discovered a profound solace in the pursuit of knowledge.

Solitude

In the quiet moments of reading, I find a sense of peace that is hard to come by in the busyness of everyday life. The world slows down, and I can immerse myself in the thoughts and ideas of others.

It’s a form of quiet contemplation, a way to escape the noise and chaos.

Through books, I explore different cultures, eras, and perspectives, each one enriching my understanding of the world.
