Our clothes are poisoning us and the planet.

I’ve been trying to live a sustainable life, and reducing plastic consumption has been a major goal.

While I’ve made significant strides in reducing my reliance on plastic products, I’ve recently learned that a significant source of health and environmental concerns lies in my wardrobe.

I own a considerable amount of synthetic clothing, which I purchased when I wasn’t aware of the differences between fabrics.

Synthetic clothing is produced from man-made fibers, such as polyester, nylon, and acrylic. Unlike natural fibers like cotton or wool, these synthetic materials are derived from petroleum-based chemicals, which means they are basically plastic.

While they offer certain advantages like durability and wrinkle resistance, they come with a host of health and environmental issues.
