Curious Life is a top-ranked Medium publication. We take every possible step to make sure that anything you publish reaches the widest possible Medium audience.
Curious Life is an online publication for self-improvement enthusiasts. We publish a wide range of topics including:
- Personal growth
- Productivity
- Mental health
- Philosophy
- Psychology
- Relationships

- Curiosity
There are two types of stories we accept:
1. Personal stories
An experience aimed at the reader from First-hand experience. Based on your own knowledge and experience, how would you offer advice to a friend?
Ideally, your articles should be positive and compassionate, making readers feel better equipped to face the world and inspired to follow your tips.
2. Research stories
These are Second-hand experiences. Are there any eye-opening insights you can share with our readers, based on your extensive research? Our goal is to publish factually based and objective articles.
No copying or paraphrasing from another article or website is acceptable. We will not accept book reviews/summaries or key takeaways from any online video.
Current Writers
If you’ve already been added as a writer with Curious Life. Submit the article via the Medium interface. (Do not use the form above.) Go into the article, and use the “•••” menu to add the draft to publication.
After you select “Curious Life,” you’ll see a green button to finish submitting it. Click that, too. It’s a funky two-step process, and the second step is easy to miss. (Don’t publish the draft, and do make it eligible for payments.)
We will review your article within the Medium interface and do one of the following:
- Accept it into the publication and schedule it for publishing. We’ll leave you a private note with the scheduled publish time.
- Decline your article. This happens within the Medium interface, and you will get a notification from Medium.
- Accept it into the publication, and ask you to improve mentioned parts before we publish it. If those improvements haven’t been made within a few days and you haven’t contacted us to let us know why we may go ahead and decline the article
Formatting
- Title — Chicago title case
- Subtitle — Sentence case
- Image — Should be bright and appealing, the source must be cited under the image even if it is taken from a free website/created yourself.
- Main body of the article — It must be formatted appropriate using headers, subheaders, paragraphs and dividers. Try to avoid one-sentence paragraphs.
