The world is a crazy place.

I come from a small village in Germany — few people, lots of cows. Many of my old friends never left. They drink at the same bars, have the same talks, and eat the same foods. In a way, it’s sad.

I’m not saying everyone should rack up airline miles like Tiger Woods STDs, but after traveling over 20 countries and living on three continents, I’ve seen a lot.

Lush green rainforests, rotten-smelling slumps, and law-free mafia districts. Not everything was great, but I’ve learned a ton of lessons from the good, the bad, and the ugly.
