Do you feel exhausted about the decision points in daily life? What to wear, what to cook, which plate to use, which mandarin to buy on the counter, when to wash clothes, how many breads to buy today — many more and even tinier ones.

We are making +35.000 decisions each and every day

But of course not consciously of all. Decision making is a sort of science studied in many disciplines — psychology, system thinking, economy — with lots of terminologies and frameworks. But rather than the theory itself, which is also very interesting, I want to talk about our daily life decisions and their criticality — if so.

The evening salad made me think

I visited my mother in love last week and she was so excited to prepare food for us and her grandson. She was asking me all the time what to cook, how to cook, either to make boiled eggs or omelet, how to chop the potatoes, either to put some more oil on top or not, whether the salt is enough and many many more tiny decision points.
