How to Trust That You Are Exactly Where You’re Meant To Be
Even if it feels like you’re stuck in the mud and don’t know how to get out
I am starting a new full-time job in about 45 minutes after three years of self-employment. It is taking up more space in my mind than anything else at the moment.
A large part of the space is filled with thoughts that I failed as an entrepreneur (I’ve been freelancing as a content writer, copywriter, Squarespace web designer and social media manager — yes, it is a lot of things). Those inner critic voices keep trying to tell me I could have tried harder to network, posted more on social media, charged more and refined my offerings.
And then, I certainly would have been more successful, right?
I would have made twice as much money, and been able to work those coveted 20-hour work weeks without having to answer to anyone ever again.
My current circumstances would look a lot more like what I envisioned a little over two years ago when I registered a business number and went full-time as a freelancer.
