I read Marilyn Monroe’s autobiography My Story. If I could change the name of the book, I’ll call it From Norma Jean to Marilyn Monroe — a transformation.

Marilyn Monroe was called Norma Jean before she came into fame.

Norma Jean was an unwanted child who grew up poor. She had no place to call home. Her father left her mother before she was born and her mother could not afford to keep her, nor was she mentally stable. So she was sent to different orphanages from where she would go to foster families who treated her as nothing more than a maid. She was molested as a young girl and bullied in school.

When she entered the Hollywood industry she was called “non-photogenic”. She was not taken seriously for her talent. Her life was a rocky mountain that she had to climb all alone. Falling and getting wounded, she would rise up again, then fail again, but she kept going like there was a compass to navigate her life.
