Today I want to talk about two common ways I see people dealing with their lives and their problems in a toxic way. And yes I know the word “toxic” is really overused but in this case, I really mean “toxic” when I say “toxic”.
I won’t just leave you there but also share with you my step-by-step process of how to deal with the downsides of life instead.
Toxic Way Of Dealing With The Downsides Of Life Nr. 1: Toxic Positivity
Honestly, this is something I see all the time, especially in the wellness & yoga community.
Just stay in a higher frequency.
Focus only on the positive.
Don’t complain.
Don’t be nitpicky.
When a negative thought comes, change it to a positive one.
Excuse my language but that is like putting sparkles on top of your s**t. Yeah, you have got some sparkle but it’s still your s**t.
In my opinion, these are all ways of how your shadows can control you into not allowing yourself to feel the feelings of reality.
