Bill Gates (with six fingers) doing the dishes, by Midjourney

I hate doing the dishes! And proving the life coaches and spiritual gurus right, the universe brings me more dishes and takes away my dishwasher.

Yeah, of course, I feel gratitude about having the dishes in the first place, and food to spoil them. So I kept smiling bitterly to the universe as I did the dishes every night.

Then, I saw an Instagram post that said Bill Gates does dishes every night, too. Just like me.

I normally don’t write about famous billionaires. But having a common thing with Bill Gates really intrigued me.

So apparently, Bill Gates did an “Ask Me Anything” session on Reddit years ago and he mentioned he washed the dishes every night. Of course, that was before his divorce. I don’t know if he still does it.

But he wasn’t the only successful person who claimed to do the dishes. Barack Obama has mentioned it, too. Was there a pattern here?
