Romance novels are a $1.8 billion industry. Yes, you read that number right. This is the genre that sits proudly atop the commercial sales throne, and if you do a good job of writing and marketing your own steamy stories, you can sit right up there with it.

To do that, you need to know why Romance is large and in charge. That means learning, memorizing, and embodying the reasons causing millions of voracious readers to buy book after book in this category.
