Let’s get ready for the beaches and adventures. As you are going to show more of your skin, we have 5 summer skin tips for you to face the sun’s ray.

  1. Get along with H2O
  • High temperatures and outdoors times will lead to dehydration, which can result in headaches and dizzy spells.

Apart from suggesting you to drink more water, taking a cold shower would help a lot. Hot showers after sun exposure will further dry our skin. But Dr. Sadick said a cool shower after excess sweating would help keep the skin un-occluded, and it would decrease acne breakouts.

  1. More vitamins C & E

“There’s some evidence that oral intake of vitamins C and E together can limit potential for sunburn,” Mentioned by Dr. Giles. You can take them by eating a salad with berries, tomato, rich nuts, avocado, and olives. If you are more into drinks, drink a fresh orange juice would help as well.

  1. Use sunscreen for the whole body

People usually use sunscreen after they changed their bikinis or swimming trunks on the beach. However, “Bikinis give no protection for the skin, and those sunburns can hurt the most,” Dr. Wexler says. Thus, remember to use sunscreen over the whole body, and let it dry before putting on your swimsuit.

  1. Soothe over-exposed skin
  • If you forget to use sunscreen, or you didn’t put enough, remember to use the cooling gels! We know the damage is done already, but at least you don’t have to suffer from the pain.

SO WHO´S DOWN FOR THE BEACH????
