Receiving a Curology delivery in the mailbox, which is currently available in 35 U.S. states

One of the best things about Curology is that you can get care from a licensed medical provider without having to make an appointment, leave the house, or even put on pants. It’s all done online, and your custom skincare superbottle is delivered to your door. The only downside: due to regulations that differ state by state, Curology isn’t available everywhere. Unfortunately, Curology isn’t currently available in countries other than the U.S.A. either.

We’re ever-growing and want to expand our coverage to as many people as possible, so we’ll continue to keep you posted as things change! But for now, let’s talk telemedicine: how it works, why it has limits, and what the future holds (fingers crossed).

What is telemedicine?

Telemedicine, aka telehealth or virtual health, means receiving medical care by a doctor or other healthcare provider without having to go in-person to a doctor’s office. Most often, it’s done through a website (such as Curology) or an app. It’s a revolutionary concept and a rapidly growing industry — and we’re excited to be at the forefront, offering custom skincare with active ingredients, some of which are only available with a prescription.

It can get a little complicated, but the reasons why telemedicine services like Curology aren’t available in some states will vary on a case-by-case basis. As telemedicine services like Curology become increasingly popular and in-demand, we’re optimistic that legislators will respond well to the change, so that services like Curology can be available in more states in the future. Telemedicine makes quality healthcare more accessible and affordable to people who otherwise have a hard time getting the care they need.

  • Arkansas
  • Indiana
  • Mississippi
  • Puerto Rico
  • South Carolina

What to do if we aren’t available in your state

First of all, we’re sorry if we can’t be there for you and your skin because of the state you live in! We’re always working on expanding our availability to more areas. Sign up to be the first to hear when we are available in your state here.

In the meantime, you can still find great quality care for your skin. If we’re not available in your state, check out the page on the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) Find-a-Derm website for local dermatologist recommendations.
