So it makes perfect sense that the most heated debate on the Internet right now is “if 100 men fought a gorilla, who would win?”
The question heard around the Internet
Although it has recently taken center stage on the Internet and in text chats everywhere, the question of who would win a fight between 100 men and one gorilla was first asked in a TikTok thread several years ago. “Who wins in a fight?” asked the original poster. “100 grown men or 1 gorilla?”
The answers were many and varied: “100 men, but the first 10–20 are getting pieced.” “Define winning the fight.” “100 men vs. 1 gorilla. The men are losing.”
The question had staying power. When someone on X.com posted, in April of 2025, that “i think 100 n — -s could beat 1 gorilla everybody just gotta be dedicated to the shit,” the debate once again took off like wildfire.
