It’s been a while! I’ve been busy with the part-time Mathematics BSc I started on becoming sufficiently adept at studying alongside work. It’s summer break now (from university — not my job!) so I’m happy to be giving Curriculum some weekend time again.

Here’s what’s been done:

1. Autocomplete suggestions for learning items

2. Tidier Top Bar + Study Time Display

3. Some UX-ification of the Learning Resource/Project Form

Forms suck — although I don’t always love an over-UX-ed ‘flow’ of multiple screens filled with animations, either. They can slow you down.

My aim is to make the New Learning Resource/Project form in Curriculum speedy to complete. It’s a key part of the app and will always need attention.

For now, it’s visually clearer and tidier. (Compare to the top gif above!)

Also, there’s now validation on certain fields to help you fix any missing or mixed-up data right away.

4. Miscellaneous design/UI tweaks

The Study Timer overlay is neater on tablet/desktop screens, and the Community page cards have slightly-less-bold emphasis on the learning item titles. Totally worth a mention.

Lifelong learner but not yet signed up? If you’re looking for a way to create a study plan and track your progress, check out Curriculum. And if you’ve got thoughts or feedback to share, send them my way.
