As promised, new features are being released faster now.

New User Onboarding

Thanks to insightful feedback from some friends, I prioritised an interactive tutorial feature for new users this sprint.

Onboarding 1.0 is out now, ready for testing. I’ll also be roping more friends into feedback sessions. (If you have feedback, too, just give me a shout.)

In-App Study View

You can now view your learning resource directly from the Study Timer.

To enable this, just add a URL custom field to the learning item:

StudyCoins

You’ll now earn StudyCoins with daily logins or by completing the onboarding tutorial.

The next step will be to add StudyCoin costs for more learning item storage, for custom dashboard and profile components, etc.

This feature is, of course, mostly for fun. But rewards are an important part of building a study habit. I’ll be doing a lot more thinking (and talking to users) about this over the next few months.
