Will renewable resources of energy save our environment?
I tend to think it certain that renewable resources of energy will take place of fossil fuels in the future. This is in part because the fossil fuels are limited and they have been polluting our living environment.
On the contrary, renewable resources of energy are much cleaner than fossil fuels. For example, we could collect solar energy from sunlight by solar panels. we can use the energy to heat bath water, charge electronic equipments, to cook and so forth. All of these indicate that the use of solar energy could make our life better without any pollution.
However, it hard to say that fossil fuels could be totally replaced by renewable resources. Gasoline has been widely used in a wide range of our life. Researchers have not found a certain renewable resource can replace it. In addition, our transport modes mainly use gasoline as fuels. it is impossible for us to developing new types of transport modes and wipe all current modes out. In this case, we should consider the balance between cost and profit.
At the same time, the efficiency of renewable resources has been mentioned in recently years. Most researches have showed that their efficiency is not high. It is well aware that the wind mill or water mill provided less energy compared to tradition fuels in the same period. In the industrial day, effectiveness and efficiency are important for our life. It is difficult to expect renewable resources to support all the human routine.
In summary, it is a time for human to consider developing renewable resources, because we need to live in the nice and clean environment. Although there still exists some technology problem in this field, people should pay attention to make good use of the renewable resources.
