If you’re like our team Drift, there’s a good chance you spend the majority of your day right here:

So today, we launched Drift for Slack, so you can talk to your customers and the people that are live on your website without ever having to leave.

Talking to your customers is the single most important thing you can do to help your business grow faster.

And it’s kind of like going to the gym or eating better.

We all know how much of an impact it can have, but have a tendency to avoid doing it.

That’s why we want to make it as easy as possible for you — and right now that means bringing things right into the app that you are using all day, every day.

But this integration is not just talking to your customers.

It’s also for talking to the people that you want to be customers. Those people who are on your website right now and might have a question, or need some help.

Every time you get a new message, we give you as much information as we can about the person writing in. For anonymous visitors, you’ll be able to see the page they’re on, their location, IP address and local time:

And for people who’ve already identified or given you their email address you’ll get enriched data for that contact, including their name, location, job and company information, links to their social profiles and more, like this:

Speaking of talking to customers and prospects, I’d love to get your feedback. If you have a website, give Drift a spin (it’s 100% free) and let us know what you think.
